BALAM is a 3D puzzle-adventure about trust, duality, and what the jungle already knows.

The Explorer and the Jaguar see two different worlds layered over the same jungle — and they move differently, too. Guide the Explorer with WASD through the physical world; guide the Jaguar with the mouse through the spirit world, phasing past what blocks the Explorer and interacting with what the Explorer can't touch. Every gate needs both of you, present at the same time, deliberately opened.

Ten zones, each larger and harder than the last: rivers to bridge with a fallen log, spirit barriers to dispel at their sconce, vines to wilt, ancient runes to awaken, and stone gates held open only as long as a block sits on the plate behind them — push it, or pull it, your choice. The deeper you go, the more of it you'll need at once.

Trust is the thread between you. Stay close and it builds fast; wander too far for too long and it frays — and the jungle notices. Everything you solve together strengthens it; everything you solve alone barely moves it at all.

No combat. No fail state beyond losing each other. Just two worlds, one path, and how far trust can carry you.
